Meet Daniel Webster, the artist behind Fine Art From Nature…
I have been a professional photographer since 1968. I worked as a photo-journalist, a portrait photographer, wedding photographer and sports photographer but always focused on people.
My wife and I estimate that I have taken portraits of over 250,000 people in my career. Probably my most famous subject early in my career was Mamie Eisenhower.
For several years, photography was a side-line occupation especially during the 8 years that I was in the Air Force, but I was always taking and selling pictures.
Now that I am retired, my focus has changed to admiring and photographing God’s wonders of nature. I rarely photograph anything man-made but there are a few exceptions– like special requests.
I travel across the USA visiting the amazing natural features of our country. I try to visit Arizona, Utah, Colorado, the Dakotas and Wyoming at least every other year. I have some photographs from other countries as well.
My photographic art business has been designated as a “Trusted Art Seller” with The Art Storefronts Organization, which means you can shop with confidence, and know that I stand behind the quality and value of my products.
INSPIRATION
The natural beauty that God created uplifts my spirit and enriches my soul. To be able to save some of my experiences in print is a real blessing to me and, hopefully, to you as well.
TECHNIQUES
After I stopped using Crown Graphics and medium format cameras, I became and remain a Nikon person. Still prefer a tripod whenever possible.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
I taught photojournalism at University of Maryland College Park and for Columbia Scholastic Press Association. I covered ACC sports for 10 years.
Fine Art From Nature is a Veteran Owned Small Business.
