Raleigh Foodie Fare at Iron Works 10/5
The Raleigh Foodie Fare is this weekend at Iron Works! SLR member The MAKRS Society is hosting their monthly foodie and art market this Saturday from 11am-3pm. The Foodie Fare will feature 30+ local vendors, a mini food truck rodeo, drinks, live music, and more! Raleigh Iron Works – 1101 E Whitaker Mill Rd. More info.

Magic of Meadow Making at Sweet Peas Community Garden 10/5
Join Sweet Peas Community Garden for a workshop where you’ll learn how to create your very own native plant meadow. Michael Clark will share his insights on why these habitats are crucial to reintroducing into your yard and provide easy-to-follow steps for you to plan, prep, and plant your own meadow.

Whether you have a small 50-square-foot space or a larger area, this workshop is perfect for anyone interested in enriching their landscape with diverse plant life and supporting local wildlife. You’ll get to experience the joy of planting over 300 native plants in a new meadow at Sweet Pea’s Urban Garden, using a design created by Michael himself. $25/person. Tickets and info.
