Idlewild Winery Tasting w/ owner & winemaker Sam Bilbro
Sam grew up tending the vineyards and assisting his father at the family’s Marietta Cellars in Geyserville, CA (The Marietta Old Vine Red has been a staple at the store for years). Sam worked in the restaurant business when it became time for him to strike out on his own and developed a love for Italian wines and varietals. Returning to his winemaking roots, Sam now makes small lots of hand crafted wines from Italian varietals grown in mostly in Mendocino County, CA.
