The 2nd annual Molly Malone Oyster Festival is fast approaching! The festival kicks off at 1PM on Saturday, September 26th! We will have oysters from NC, VA, and the Gulf. Several NC breweries will be set up at tasting stations with delicious, oyster friendly brews. Participating breweries include Deep River, French Broad, Nickelpoint, Mother Earth and Lonerider Brewing. Guests will purchase tasting tickets that will allow them to visit each beer station and sample the selected brews. Oysters will be available for purchase, prepared steamed, raw, or fried, and of course everyone will be encouraged to take advantage of our “Seven” hot sauce table to add some spice to your oysters! It’s FREE to enter, and if oysters aren’t your thing we’ll have sausages and ribs with corn and potatoes so you don’t go hungry while we eat all the oysters!
We will be donating a portion of sales to Coastal Conservation Association of NC, and raising awareness about good fishing practices and keeping our coastal area beautiful.
Live music & entertainment from Gerry McCrudden kicks off at 6PM, with Nine Times Around taking over for the late night after party!
