Holiday Blood Drive to Support The Blood Connection
Shop Local Raleigh and The Department of Marketing are hosting a blood drive this holiday season. We ask you to take 30 minutes Monday, December 3 between 10 am and 2 pm and head over to Isaac Hunter’s Tavern to help out The Blood Connection. The Blood Connection provides all the blood for the banks at WakeMed Hospitals. We need at least 35 people to SIGN UP TODAY to reach our goal. Let’s see how many more we we can get by Monday! Last September, I suffered from an unexpected nearly fatal condition during childbirth. It took 28 units of blood to keep me on this earth. I am thankful everyday for those that donated blood. – Harmony VanGundy.
