Join us for Raleigh’s July 4th Fireworks celebration at Dix Park!
ABC11/WTVD-TV is our partner in presenting this family-friendly event on Tuesday, July 4, starting at 5 p.m. Enjoy music, games, food, and the main event, fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

Getting to Dix Park
Hop on a free dedicated shuttle to join the festivities. Shuttles start at 4:30 pm
Please NOTE: Dix Park will be closed to vehicles on July 4th – There will be No Parking on the Dix Park campus July 4th.

Free event parking is available at the following City of Raleigh downtown parking decks:
Moore Square Parking Deck – 223 S. Wilmington St.
Red Hat/City Center Parking Deck – 429 S. Wilmington St.
Centennial Campus
Free event parking is available in designated NC State University parking lots and decks on Centennial Campus. No shuttle service from Centennial Campus event parking – walk only to Dix Park

Free Park and Ride – Shuttle Service
- Shuttles will run from downtown event parking to Dix Park
- Will pick up from Moore Square Park
- Will drop at intersection of Centennial Parkway/Blair Dr.
- .2 miles/5 min walk up Blair Dr. from drop off to Big Field
- Shuttles from downtown will run throughout the entire event starting at 4:30 pm until all attendees have been returned to Moore Square Park
Food Truck Court (5-9pm)
- Will have 30 food trucks on the Big Field – Click here to see the list!
- Close 30 min before the fireworks for everyone to get in position to watch the stage show and prep for the fireworks
Family Activity Zone (5-9pm)
- Art activities with Artsplosure
- Slides, skee ball, and a foam party pit!
Important!
- Pack light and plan accordingly for the distances between event parking & shuttles (or Family/Rideshare Drop-off) & the Big Field viewing area
- No shuttle service from Centennial Campus event parking – walk only to Dix Park
ADA/Accessibility Parking
- No parking/viewing at the cathedral
- Enter at Goode Street from Lake Wheeler Rd. and will be directed to designated parking lots
- ADA Shuttle will pick up from those parking lots and take attendees to the Big Field
- New accessible pathway into the Big Field
- Accessible shuttle in Dix Park will pause for the fireworks show from 9:30-10 pm

No ticket or registration needed
No sign-up or registration is necessary. Enjoy this festive, free event with your Raleigh community. All are welcome!
Walk or Bike
- Use the Rocky Branch Greenway to enter at Hunt Drive and Western Blvd.
- Use the Centennial Bikeway Connector to enter at Blair Drive and Centennial Pkwy.
- Bike parking with volunteer attendants available at each of these entrances.
Ride Share/Family Drop-off
