The Burrow Grand Opening 2/7
The Burrow is back! Shop a collection of 30+ pop-up vendors and small businesses curated by Julian Jacobs of Sir Chance’s and co-owner of Unorthodox Vintage. You’ll find clothing, books, art, antiques, jewelry, and so much more! They’ll be opening Friday, February 7 at 2:00pm. 300 W Hargett Street (Unit 36). More info.

Boléro – Carolina Ballet at Martin Marietta Center 2/7-23
Carolina Ballet opens the Spring Season with a playful and unique interpretation of Maurice Ravel’s “Boléro”, choreographed by the imaginative Lynne Taylor-Corbett. A “perfect” couple prepares for a “perfect” day at the beach. Included in this program is a new ballet from Amy Hall Garner. Program includes: Boléro by Lynne Taylor-Corbett, World Premiere by Amy Hall Garner. Runs now through Feb. 23 at the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets and info.

First Friday at Hartwell 2/7

Kevin Nealon at Goodnights Comedy Club 2/6-8
Check out Kevin Nealon at Goodnights Comedy Club this weekend! Kevin Nealon hits the stage like your favorite uncle telling a story at Thanksgiving: casual, relatable, and with the perfect amount of dry wit and deadpan humor. Nealon has a personality and a conversational style that you can’t help but like. His act often wanders from topic to topic and he never misses a punchline. Career Highlights: YouTube channel “Hiking with Kevin;” appearances in “Man with the Plan,” and “Champs;” roles in “Saturday Night Live”, “Weeds”, “Happy Gilmore,” “The Wedding Singer,” and “Grandma’s Boy.” Tickets 

Fostering Footsteps Race 2/8
Fit & Able invites you to be part of the 7th running of Fostering Footsteps for Bright Futures to support the Wake Tech Foundation’s Fostering Bright Futures program at the North Scott Wake Tech campus. Race either a 5K, 10K, or Fun Mile race around a beautiful campus and support a great cause. Registration and info.

Bold Batch Creamery at Rebus Works 2/8
Big changes are happening at Bold Batch Creamery. They’ll be moving out of their current kitchen space and taking a break to make some behind-the-scenes moves. In the meantime, they’re hosting in-person pop-ups where you can grab pints and toppings. The first pop-up will be Saturday at Rebus Works from 11am-3pm. More info.

Canes vs. Utah 2/8

Puppy Love Party at Raleigh Brewing 2/8
Kick off your Valentine’s festivities with a Puppy Love Party + Market at Raleigh Brewing! They’ll have a vendor market (12pm-5pm) with local makers, a Puppy Kissing Booth (1pm-4pm), and a lottery ticket raffle! 10% of beer sales will be donated to Carolina Boxer Rescue. Candle Making at Copperline Plant Co. 2/9
Copperline Plant Co. is hosting a candle making class led by Usu Company Candles. With an emphasis on storytelling and personal connection, you’ll learn to craft your own scent inspired by the memories and stories you know and love.
