Interested in a small and mighty furry friend? Saving Grace is having Fun Sized adoption days on Friday and Saturday. If you are interested in adopting a ‘fun size’ dog, please fill out an adoption request on their website and schedule your appointment between 12 – 6pm on Fridays or 12 – 3pm on Saturdays. Packapalooza on Hillsborough Street 8/24
NC State’s Packapalooza™ is a vibrant all-day block party and street festival. NC State students, faculty, staff, alums, families and members of the local community pack Hillsborough Street for a day filled with music, entertainment, family-friendly activities, food, and everything that embodies the Wolfpack spirit. Packapalooza™ is a cherished tradition that attracts over 85,000 attendees, boasting an impressive lineup of more than 300 vendor booths and support from over 50 sponsoring organizations. Block Printing Class at Riparian Provision Co. 8/25
Meet at Riparian Provision Co. for a fun and creative event where you can personalize your own tote bag using the block printing technique. Let your imagination run wild as you design and print your unique masterpiece on a high-quality tote bag. Whether you’re new to it or a seasoned pro, these classes are all about having a great time and making something beautiful. You’ll get simple, step-by-step instructions and all the materials needed. House Plant 101 at Copperline Plant Co. 8/25
From selecting the right plant to choosing the right pot – this class will cover the fundamentals of houseplants! Whether you’re a beginner plant parent or you’re just hoping to learn a few new tips and tricks, this is the class for you! This 1.5 hour class will take place at Copperline Plant Co. Attendees will repot and take home a beginner-friendly plant. Classes are BYO, so come sip on something while you learn, if you’re so inclined! $35/person. More info and tickets.

Superbloom Comedy Show at The Pour House 8/25
A vibrant monthly comedy show presented by Rhizome Comedy at The Pour House! You’ll see hilarious headliners from all over the country as well as your favorites from the Southern comedy scene.
