The New York Times bestselling author Kristy Woodson Harvey will be at Quail Ridge Books for her new book “A Happier Life”. Downtown Raleigh Treasure Hunt 7/13
Find clues, solve puzzles, and crack codes during this 60 minute walking team scavenger hunt from Triangle Treasure Hunt. Guests will meet at Crank Arm Brewing (319 W. Davie St.) and then depart with their treasure map where they will use their minds and feet to follow clues, solve puzzles, and crack codes to find and unlock the treasure chest! The hunt takes about 60 minutes to complete. Children under 10 years old are welcome to participate for free with the purchase of an Adult ticket. $20/adults, $12/10-17 years old 5pm. Venus Fly Trap Terrarium Workshop at Iron Works 7/13
Who doesn’t love a carnivorous plant? They’re beautiful and creepy because they eat bugs! Carnivorous plants are also a great way to help control fungus gnats in your home. During the Venus Flytrap Terrarium Workshop, you’ll go through the proper care of these beasts of the plant world and the best environment for them. Then you’ll build your very own terrariums with a Venus Flytrap. This workshop includes:
Instruction and guidance in creating your terrarium
One (1) Venus Flytrap plant
All materials you need to build your terrarium
