Jazz Night at Hartwell 8/9
Head to Hartwell and listen to Turnabout Players, enjoy a complimentary wine tasting, grab dinner from Berto’s Chimis and dessert from Bold Batch Creamery! 6pm-8pm More info.

Live Music at Copperline Plant Co. 8/10
Join Copperline Plant Co. for an intimate evening of live music! This show will be night 5 of the Creekbed + Owen FitzGerald tour and will (most likely) feature some other special guests! The show is free, but there is a suggested cover of $10. 7pm. RSVP here

NCFC vs. Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC 8/10
The Summer in NC Series promises unforgettable nights filled with excitement, entertainment, and a touch of competitive spirit. Test your knowledge with soccer trivia quizzes, and a dedicated kids’ zone with inflatable soccer-themed games and activities. 7:30pm Tickets and info.

Paint Night Fundraiser at Unleashed 8/10
Join Unleashed and Wine & Design for a night of painting and fun at the Creedmoor Road Unleashed! No artistic talent is needed, just the desire to have fun! They’ll take the time to guide you step by step to complete your very own take-home masterpiece. Part of your purchase will go towards Second Chance Pet Adoptions! $60/ticket. 5pm-7pm. Houseplants Expo at Homewood Nursery 8/10
Grab a friend, gather your houseplants that need a re-pot, and head to Homewood Nursery for a fun plant-people outing! Plants and pottery are on sale and they’ll be re-potting plants for free – both yours from home and those purchased here. (Large plants may have a soil charge but no labor charges). Get a snap with your new and/or refreshed plant babies in their selfie stations, and grab a free mini Boston fern. There will be free popcorn and drinks, too! More info.

Triangle Treasure Hunt at Dix Park 8/10
Explore Dix Park during this fun free treasure hunt through a partnership with Triangle Treasure Hunt! Teams depart with their treasure map on a scavenger hunt following clues, solving puzzles, and cracking codes to find and unlock the treasure chest for a prize! The hunt takes about 60-90 minutes to complete and involves walking a total distance of 1.5-2.5 miles. They’ll run the treasure hunt rain or shine, unless the weather becomes dangerous due to lightning or other severe weather conditions. Start times: 4pm, 4:30pm, 5pm, 5:30pm. While free to attend, participation is limited for each time slot. Registration is required.

Saving Grace Hiking Program 8/10
Need some morning exercise and want to give a shelter dog a field trip? You have your option of a 2.6- or 4-mile hike on the NC Trails with the Saving Grace Hiking Team right down the road from the farm. They are now open to the community for anyone that wants to join! More info.

Saving Grace Sleepover 8/9-11
Will you take a deserving dog for a slumber party this weekend? Pick up Friday evening at Saving Grace. Drop-off Sunday evening. More info.

Saving Grace Fun-sized Summer Days 8/9-10
Interested in one of the small and mighty furry friends at Saving Grace? They’ll be having Fun Sized adoption days on Friday and Saturday. If you are interested in adopting a ‘fun size’ dog between Friday, May 31 and Saturday, Aug 31st., please fill out an adoption request on their website and schedule your appointment between 12pm-6pm on Fridays or 12pm-3pm on Saturdays. The Underground Market at North Hills 8/11

Sunday Yoga at Trophy Maywood 8/11
Sunday Yoga at Trophy Brewing’s Maywood location. Meet inside at Trophy Brewing Maywood, or – if it’s warm and sunny – out back on the lawn for a 60-minute yoga flow! This class is great for all experience levels.
