Feminist First Friday at Hartwell 3/7
Kick-off Women’s History Month with a special First Friday celebration dedicated to the incredible contributions of women throughout history and today. Downtown Raleigh Alliance and Hartwell are hosting a vendor market featuring local, women-owned businesses, free professional headshots with hair touch-ups by The Hightide Salon, flash tattoos, a community art project with Art by SRG, live music, food, drinks and more! 620 W South Street. 5pm-8pm. Craig Conant at Goodnights Comedy Club 3/6
Check out Craig Conant at Goodnights Comedy Club! This past summer, Conant was the standout “Unrepped New Face” at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. Conant recently appeared on MTV’s “Greatest Party Story Ever Told” where he received accolades for his unique comedic voice. Movie Night: Barbie at Downtown Cary Park 3/7
Free Movie Nights at Downtown Cary Park are back! They’re kicking things off with Barbie in honor of Women’s History Month. Come early for prescreening activities like taking your photo in a life-size Barbie box, making a Barbie visor, and buying some delicious cotton candy. Check out Martin Amini at Goodnights Comedy Club this weekend! Martin Amini’s stand up material touches on what it’s like growing up mixed in America coming from a Bolivian and Iranian background. After making his television debut on Laff Tracks on TruTv, Martin filmed his stand up special “Son of An Ice Cream Man” at The Kennedy Center in 2020.
