Raleigh Kids Treasure Hunt 8/17
Find clues, solve puzzles, and crack codes to find the treasure chest! Hosted by Triangle Treasure Hunt, guests will meet at the Color Pop Corner (102 S. Blount St., Raleigh, NC 27601) and then depart with their treasure map. Puzzles are geared toward kids ages 12 and under with some parental help. The scavenger hunt portion is perfect to complete as a family. The hunt involves walking up to 1 mile in total and will take place rain or shine, so long as the weather does not become dangerous. The hunt typically takes about 60 minutes to complete. $12-15/person. 10am. More info. and tickets

ALS Ice Bucket Challenge at Sola Coffee 8/17
This summer is the 10th anniversary of the viral #ALSicebucketchallenge that got 17 million people to raise awareness and $115 million for ALS research. Sola Coffee is taking it upon themselves alongside the ALS community to resurface ALS awareness in the Triangle and beyond! They’ll host an ice bucket dumping party on their patio. They’ll have a few of their favorite Canes out there dumping water on you and the chance for you to dump water on some of them! 12pm-2pm. More info.

Midtown Farmers’ Market at North Hills 8/17
Head to North Hills and check out 35+ local vendors offering fresh produce, meats, baked goods, crafts, and more from within a 100-mile radius of Raleigh.
