Taylor’s Wine Shop is excited to offer this opportunity to their awesome fans of Fine Wine and the Carolina Hurricanes. These gents (Jason, Cam, and Tim) have been raising the bar since the inception of their Vineyard 36 Winery. Hops For Hope at North Hills 9/14
Be a part of this powerful movement celebrating Children’s Flight of Hope’s mission to give families hope through flight! Teams will showcase their creations to attendees on September 14 at Midtown Park in North Hills. This family-friendly festival is open to the public and includes live music, food trucks, and a kids zone. 2pm-6pm More info.

Pups & Pastries 9/14
Fit & Able Productions loves family fitness and whose four-legged furry friend isn’t part of the family? Dog owners are welcome to run with their pups in the Doggie Dash 5K and Doggie Dash 6.5 Mile! For only $10 per pup it will be happy trails for both runners and their dogs. AND, the full $10 dog fee goes to support Second Chance Pet Adoptions! More info and registration

Saving Grace Fun-sized Summer Days 9/13-14
Interested in one of the small and mighty furry friends at Saving Grace? They’ll be having Fun Sized adoption days on Friday and Saturday. If you are interested in adopting a ‘fun size’ dog between Friday, May 31 and Saturday, Aug 31st., please fill out an adoption request on their website and schedule your appointment between 12pm-6pm on Fridays or 12pm-3pm on Saturdays. Sola Hot Mini 5K 9/14
Now in its 11th year, the Sola Coffee Hot Mini 5k has raised well over $625k in the fight to END ALS! This year’s race is both an in-person and virtual event with options for everyone:
5K (with official finish time) $40.00
WA – Recreational 5K (no official results) $40.00
Recreational 1 Mile Walk $25
Virtual Runner $30

The goal is to raise $175K. Whether you run, walk, donate, or volunteer, there are plenty of ways to help END ALS! Tell your friends and we’ll see you there! 8:30am. Info and Registration

Block Printing Class at Riparian Provision Co. 9/14
Join us for a fun and creative block printing workshop at Riparian Provision Co.! Perfect for all skill levels, this class will guide you through the process of using pre-made stamps to create beautiful patterns on either a tea towel or a tote bag. By the end, you’ll have a unique, handcrafted item to take home. Tea Towel: $59, Tote Bag: $63. Cookie Decorating Workshop at Adventures In Bloom 9/15
Do you want to learn the basics of decorating sugar cookies and have lots of fun while doing it? If so, then this class at Adventures In Bloom is perfect for you! You will practice basic piping and filling techniques and will walk away with 6 beautifully decorated cookies. You don’t need any experience working with sugar cookies in the past! All supplies will be provided.

What’s included:
We will decorate 6 pre-baked cookies.
We will learn how to outline & flood cookies like a pro!
We will incorporate some design specific cookie decorating techniques
All attendees will receive a copy of a Sugar Cookie & Royal Icing Recipe
All tools & materials will be provided for class use
Swag (a small surprise gift for each attendee)

Paint Your Pet at The Wine Feed 9/15
If you have a furry friend you’d like to celebrate with a brightly colored portrait, The Wine Feed has an event for you! Artist Victoria Lowry will help you create a memorable pop art style canvas based on a photo of your pet. A portion of all proceeds will benefit the Urban Tails Compassion Fund. Paint your pet, sip some wine, and help animals in need! Event includes:
