Thursday, October 24⁠ – Smithfield Foods Hunger Relief Day – Bring 6 cans of food and get in free!⁠
Daily Military Discount⁠ – Active-duty service members, reservists, retirees, National Guardsmen and their dependents (ages 13-64) pay only $8 daily at the gate.⁠

⁠The fair runs from Thursday, October 17th through Sunday, October 27th at the ⁠NC State Fairgrounds⁠. More info.

Raleigh Renaissance Fashion Show at Smoky Hollow 10/18
Needle & Thread Co. is excited to invite you to “Raleigh Renaissance”, their first-ever fashion show in collaboration with Weird Productions! Join them on Friday, October 18th at 6PM at Smoky Hollow for an unforgettable evening of fashion, art, and community. This isn’t just another fashion show—it’s WEIRD, it’s FUN, and it’s for the daring! Enjoy drinks, eats, and an interactive experience with fellow Creatives as they showcase styles that’ll leave you talking.

Your $50 ticket includes admission, adult beverages, delicious eats, and a truly one-of-a-kind experience. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the WNC Arts, supporting creatives impacted by Hurricane Helene.

Step into an elegant evening of glamour and giving at the Pink Pumps and Bow Ties Gala hosted by the Pretty In Pink Foundation. Join them on October 19 at The Pavilion at the Angus Barn from 6:00 to 11:00 PM for an unforgettable night filled with live and silent auctions, a diamond giveaway, a live band, and more. North Hills Wine Walk 10/19
Check out the North Hills Wine Walk benefitting Kay Yow Cancer Fund on Saturday, October 19th from 3pm to 6pm! Attendees make a $25 donation to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund either by pre-registering or checking in on-site. You will be given a “passport” listing the participating stores and a cup for sampling wines (or brews!) as you sip and shop. Bring your friends and make it a date! Info. and tickets

Hillsborough Street Trick or Treat 10/20
Kick off your Halloween festivities at the Hillsborough Street Trick or Treat Monster Mash. From 2-5pm on Sunday, they will feature classic candy stations, a trunk or treat zone, face painting, lawn games, and much more. Costumes are encouraged but not required. This is a free community event where all ages are welcome to attend. Tickets are not required. More info.
